  • The Arc de Triomphe is a monument in Paris that stands in the centre of the Place de l'Étoile, at the end of the Champs-Élysées.
    It's quite big; 51 meter high and is 45 meter wide.
    A guided tour + visit to the top of the Arc is 8 €.

    Twelve major avenues, including Avenue des Champs Elysees, are leading to the Arc de Triomphe.

  • Metro station: Charles de Gaulle - Étoile. This station is right next to the Arc.

  • From here you can walk all along the Champs Elysees into the direction of Place de la Concorde.
    Behind Place de la Concorde is the Orangerie and the famous Louvre Museum.
    Total distance is about 4km (Arc - Louvre).
    If you get tired; there are 4 underground stations between Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre Museum.
