taxi's waiting at Gare du Nord
The taxi rank is on the ground floor of the Gare du Nord station.
To get there, take the side entrance of the station.
Many taxi drivers will not accept more than three passengers.
If he does, then there is a supplement to be paid from the 4th person onwards: 2.70€ per adult.
From the 2nd suitcase he can ask an additional 0.90€/per item.
Also when the hotel book a taxi for you, the taxi driver will charge you the cost of the journey to the hotel from the the place where the taxi was at the moment it received your booking. (So when you enter the taxi, there can be allready a considerably amount on the meter.)
The fixed minimum journey charge is 5.20€.
The taxi driver is obliged to give a detailed receipt for all journeys of 15€ and above (and also if the customer requests).
He is not obliged to load the customer’s luggage into his taxi.
